Blackwater charity bites in the end.

Press Release from Ray Lutz (Citizen's oversight) on Blackwater in Potrero. Blackwater was able to get beyond sheriff's blockade to deliver these goods. Let's talk. In New Orleans Blackwater got in there first with no DHS contract & then a week later they had a contract. Remember, Blackwater was in New Orleans before FEMA (truth be told that is no great task). I am sure they "back dated" services they did that first week in New Orleans in the eventual contract they got for New Orleans.

It may appear that these are "do-gooders" but they are going to get money some way out of the state for this. Chris Bertelli (Deputy Director of DHS in CA) is an ex-Blackwater.

Blackwater's new source of revenue stream (to support Erik Prince in the lifestyle he has grown accustomed to) will be from within the USA. The contract in Iraq is up May_09 - which will probably not be renewed.
  1. That is what should be in this bill. Is the insurance that DHS cannot hire Blackwater or equivalent in the USA in lieu of National Guard, for example.
  2. If Blackwater does not get extension on State Dept contract - what firm are they going to hire to replace Blackwater in Iraq.

"We see the security market diminishing," Mr. Prince said. He added that the company's focus "is going to be more of a full spectrum," ranging from delivering humanitarian aid to responding to natural disasters to handling the behind-the-lines logistics of moving heavy equipment and supplies.

Question: which firm will State Dept get to replace Blackwater in Iraq?

Broken Government - Why Won't our Elected Officials Fix It?

Broken Government; How Republican Rule Destroyed the Legislative, Executive and Judicial Branches
Author: John Dean
Sliced & Diced clips from Watergate: Rep. Barbara Jordan, Howard Baker, John Dean and of course Mr. Bill Moyers.

Broken Government - Why Won't our Elected Officials Fix It?
Enough with the excuses - IMPEACH!

Keeping it Real in Democracy - Impeachment on Prime Time!

Kucinich mentions the IMPEACH word during the Democratic Debate on national TV!
Thank you!

This morning I listened to Washington Journal and now I am completely depressed. I start my day with Prozac and I end it with cake!

Someone called in to Washington Journal and said "What is happening today is all Karl Rove's work to keep the Democrats out of the WH in 08. No one is going to vote for a female nor a black."

JMCO (just my cynical opinion)
As is typical, the Democrats are fighting amongst themselves (looking like the "do nothing party"). Of course, it does not take much to get the Democrats to not agree amongst themselves.

Rove is fueling this Democratic party dysfunctional with "behind the scenes Rovian Viagra destruction". Bush is playing politics when he holds press conferences saying "The Congress needs to do this - blah blah blah". It is "pin the tail on the Donkey" time - the programming of American voters that the Democratic held House and Senate are incompetent and not the savior for 08.

It is a Karl Rove mega-phone hypnotizing the electorate with the MSM (Mime Stream Media) message to American voters.

Democrats cannot agree on anything.

The Democratic controlled House and Senate are screwing up America! Hence, the Democrats are being branded for all the failures of the BushCo since 2000. Just in time for Election_08.

Democrats are responsible for the budget not being approved. Remember when Clinton held up the budget approval with Newt Gingrich and Clinton got the backing of the US voters on shutting the government down.

Democrats only have a Female & a Black to offer as a president = "oh no NOT IN MY COUNTRY". (These are not my personal views - just my rubber neck roadside train wreck observations).

Democrats have not done anything to end the occupation.

IMMUNITY is a "badge of honor for Republicans"

Land of Opportunity - all of America for Blackwater

I did another video on Blackwater and Potrero (Blackwater West). The motivating incident in the creation of this vlog was when I read that Brain Bonfiglio (Blackwater West Project Manager) had gone to deliver goods to the Fire House in the wildfire area in his Hummer. It just pissed me off.

Can you imagine how pissed off I got when later in the day I hear that that the Blackwater guards were granted IMMUNITY in the killing of the 17 Iraqi civilians.

Of course - IMMUNITY is a "badge of honor for Republicans".

What does it take for LA media to notice a protest of thousands of people?

As you see, on Sunday LATimes crapped out and picked up an AP story about the SF protest. I guess the home team does not count.

I did an email with my vid clips on Saturday stating "what the home team does not rate" to CBS 2 (SF coverage), all the other LA Broadcast new stations and LA Times.

Tasks to post complaints to LATimes on wimping out, they did NOT support the home team of a couple thousands protesters in their own hood. Why did they not dedicate resources to cover this little event??? They reprinted an AP story!

Step One - Leave cyper space rant
Leave message on the "readers line".

Carlos from LATimes assured me that they listen to these calls. Right!

Step Two - Keystrokes to suit in charge
Ultimate suit responsible is David Lauter (Deputy State Editor)
David.Lauter@latimes.com
I do NOT have a direct phone line for him - but you could try 213.237.7001

Step Three - Letter to the Editor

JMCO (Just my cynical opinion)

Maybe we all had to go without our skivvies (like Brittany Spears) to get noticed in LA. My parting comment to the LA media in my email on Saturday night.

Los Angelenos Walk the Talk - Protest Iraq Occupation

Los Angeles ANSWER Iraq Protest Occupation

A couple thousand people took to the streets on October 27th in Los Angeles to protest the Iraq occupation and pending Iran invasion.

Have not seen any local TV news coverage from the actual Los Angeles rally. CBS 2 news crews were at the rally, however, their online video was from the San Francisco rally. I guess they prefer San Francisco over their own home team!
